How the Phemex Referral Program Works

Phemex is a Singapore-founded exchange from 2019, best known for perpetual futures. Its referral programme pays the inviter a daily commission, and the new user's side comes from limited-time events rather than a fixed sign-up bonus.

Since 25 December 2025, inviters who complete Advanced KYC and switch on commissions earn 15% of their friends' net trading fees, rising to 20% (5 qualified referrals or $50,000 of invitee volume in a month) and 25% (15 referrals or $100,000). A qualified referral registers through the link and, by the end of that calendar month, has a net deposit of at least 100 USDT and 1,000 USDT of trading volume.

Commissions cover trades in the friend's first 365 days and are paid daily. Fees paid with bonuses or vouchers don't count.

On top of that, Phemex runs invitation events with rewards for both sides, such as cash bonuses, trial funds or vouchers. The terms change from event to event, so check the one running when you sign up.

Who Can Use It: Eligibility and Countries

Phemex excludes the US, the UK, the UAE, Russia, Belarus, mainland China, several Canadian provinces (Ontario, Québec, Alberta, Saskatchewan), South Africa and a long list of sanctioned or high-risk countries. It isn't MiCA-authorised, so we don't list it for EU readers.

Local rules: Availability depends on where you live, not on the code. In the US and UK many global exchanges either run a separate local entity or do not accept new clients, and the UK FCA requires crypto promotions to come from authorised or registered firms. Always check the exchange's list of restricted countries before you deposit.

On 23 January 2025 Phemex detected an attack on its hot wallets, suspended withdrawals, published a proof of reserves and restored all withdrawals by February 2025.

What does a new user get from a Phemex code?

Whatever the current invitation event offers, usually vouchers, trial funds or bonuses for deposit and trading tasks. There's no fixed amount.

Is Phemex available in the UAE?

No. Phemex lists the United Arab Emirates among its restricted jurisdictions.

Does using a Phemex referral code cost anything?

No. The referrer is paid by Phemex out of the trading fees, not by you. Codes that share part of that commission with you (a "kickback" or fee rebate) can actually lower your fees.

Can I use more than one code?

No. An account can be linked to one referrer only, and the link is set when the account is created. Choose the code before you register.

Are the bonus amounts on code sites real?
