How the Binance Referral Program Works
Binance, founded in 2017, is one of the largest exchanges by trading volume, with deep liquidity on spot and futures. Its referral system has two versions, and which one a code belongs to decides what you get: a voucher package or a permanent share of your trading fees.
"Referral Lite" codes reward you with vouchers: once you buy at least $50 of crypto you can receive fee-rebate vouchers worth up to $100, and after $100+ of trading both you and the referrer can receive vouchers of up to $1,000 in total. Vouchers pay fees; they are not withdrawable cash.
"Referral Pro" codes belong to more active referrers. The referrer earns a default 20% commission on your fees and can share 0%, 5% or 10% of it with you as a kickback. That is why some codes advertise "10% off fees" and others "20%": the split is set by the code owner.
Third-party claims such as "$600 welcome bonus" refer to Binance's general new-user task centre, not to the code itself; we could not confirm a fixed $600 on Binance's own pages.
How to Apply a Binance Referral Code
- Copy a code from the list above (ours is first) or open the invite link next to it.
- Go to the official Binance sign-up page (accounts.binance.com). Type the address yourself or use the link here, and check the domain before entering any data.
- Enter your email or phone number. Open the "Referral / invitation code (optional)" field and paste the code. If a different code is already filled in, replace it before you continue.
- Finish registration and complete identity verification (KYC). Most rewards are only credited to verified accounts.
- Complete the qualifying actions described below within the deadline, then check the rewards or voucher centre in your account.
Forgot to Enter the Code?
Binance accepts a referral ID only during registration; it cannot be added to an existing account. Opening a second account to use a code is not a workaround: exchanges allow one verified account per person.
Binance Fees Overview
Entry-level rates for a new account, as published by Binance. A referral code with a fee rebate reduces these, typically for a limited period.
| Maker | Taker | |
|---|---|---|
| Spot | 0.100% | 0.100% |
| Fee-token discount | BNB −25% → 0.075% | |
Who Can Use It: Eligibility and Countries
Binance does not onboard new clients in the US (Binance.US is a separate company), restricts onboarding in the UK, has left Ontario (Canada) and the Netherlands, and stopped accepting new EU/EEA clients on 1 July 2026 because it holds no MiCA licence. Sanctioned countries are excluded. Check the current terms before you register.
Local rules: Availability depends on where you live, not on the code. In the US and UK many global exchanges either run a separate local entity or do not accept new clients, and the UK FCA requires crypto promotions to come from authorised or registered firms. Always check the exchange's list of restricted countries before you deposit.
Regulation and MiCA Status
Binance does not appear in the ESMA interim MiCA register as of October 22, 2026, so it is not listed on our EU-language pages.
Pros
- Very deep liquidity and a large number of pairs
- Paying fees in BNB cuts spot fees by 25% (0.100% → 0.075%)
- Transparent Pro split: you can see the kickback a code offers
Cons
- Not available to new EU/EEA, US or Ontario clients
- Voucher rewards expire and only cover fees
- Regulatory history: in November 2023 Binance agreed to a US$4.3 billion settlement with US authorities
FAQ
Which Binance code gives the most?
If you trade regularly, a Pro code with a 10% kickback usually beats a one-off voucher, because it applies to every trade. For a small first purchase, a Lite code's vouchers (up to $100) are more tangible.
Can I use Binance from the EU?
Not as a new client: Binance stopped onboarding new EU/EEA users on 1 July 2026 and does not appear in the ESMA MiCA register. Our EU pages list authorised alternatives.
Does using a Binance referral code cost anything?
No. The referrer is paid by Binance out of the trading fees, not by you. Codes that share part of that commission with you (a "kickback" or fee rebate) can actually lower your fees.
Can I use more than one code?
No. An account can be linked to one referrer only, and the link is set when the account is created. Choose the code before you register.
Are the bonus amounts on code sites real?
Large "up to" figures are usually the maximum of a whole new-user task programme that very few users complete. We show the exchange's own terms instead, so you know what is realistic.
Add Your Binance Referral Code
Share your own code. Submissions are reviewed by hand before they appear; we reject codes that look fake, duplicated or that point to look-alike domains.
